Lead Ridge Slate Specification

Leadworx ridge slate and pipe flashing’s are designed to be an attractive and durable way to weather a pipe through the ridge of a tiled or slate pitched roof to ensure watertight integrity. They are available in 5 degree increments to suit the pitch of your roof.

Our lead ridge slate is an ideal flashing for wood burning stove flues, boiler flues, soil and ventilation pipes. The up stand spigot is fabricated with a tolerance of (+/-) 2.5 degrees with the diameter based on the internal measurement of the up stand pipe. Common sizes are:

For 5 inch twin wall generally 190mm diameter roof slate will be suitable. (but please check the external diameter of your pipe is less than the diameter of the lead slate)

For 6 inch twin wall generally 220mm diameter roof slate will be suitable. (but please check the external diameter of your pipe is less than the diameter of the lead slate)
