Our lead pitched slates are designed to be an attractive and durable way to weather a pipe through a tiled or slate pitched roof to ensure watertight integrity. They are available in 5 degree increments to suit the pitch of your roof.
Lead pitched slates are an ideal flashing for wood burning stove flues, boiler flues, soil and ventilation pipes. The upstand spigot is fabricated with a tolerance of (+/-) 2.5 degrees. Common sizes are:
For 5 inch twin wall generally 190mm diameter roof slate will be suitable. (but please check the external diameter of your pipe is less than the diameter of the lead slate)
For 6 inch twin wall generally 220mm diameter roof slate will be suitable. (but please check the external diameter of your pipe is less than the diameter of the lead slate)
