Leadworx window tray halves are designed to fit any size window opening to stop water leaking into the structure of the building. They are made from Code 4 sheet lead milled to British Standard BS EN 12588.
The window tray cill depth (into the reveal) is 150mm and the front cover lap (down over cladding / tiles) is 150mm
Lead window tray halves are designed to fit any size window opening to stop water leaking into the structure of the building.
These window tray halves are used to weather windows being installed in stud work style constructions such as dormers where cladding such as slates, plastic and shiplap boards are used. The window tray ends turn up at the window posts and inside the window, and turn down to cover and protect the cladding and any fixings. The window trays must have an overlap of at least 100mm with the flat central section to ensure the window remains watertight. The Lead Sheet Association has more detailed information.
They are made in Cornwall, Great Britain from 100% recycled Code 4 sheet lead milled to British Standard BS EN 12588
